I know it's been a while since I posted anything here on the blog. Jeez, don't we have enough to do here in cyberspace, with the website, Flickr page, and creating multimedia slideshows for my work as well as clients. Started a new satff job back in January, so I'll throw up a few links to the new work, techniques and general ramblings from the paper here too.
For now, here's a piece I'm pretty proud of and wanted to share. It highlights my work since 2001 in Africa. Remember to turn up your speakers:

The fresh water well built in 1570 AD, filters sea water from the Indian Ocean through rock coral and sunlight, providing Old town residents a place to do laundry and cool off. © Chet Gordon / www.chetgordon.com
Hi, Chet. I loved that soundslides piece, especially your work from Kenya. What's the music you used?
ReplyDeletethanks Preston. I appreciate you looking at the work. The artist is actually an Ethiopian musician I was turned onto while producing a piece for a client. I'll post info on them as soon as I dig out their name... -cg.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I was in Kenya briefly earlier this year. I took a snap at that well in Mombasa:
